SMS Terms and Consent
How CoverageLink uses text messaging, and how to stop receiving them.
CoverageLink is an insurance marketplace operating in Florida. Consumers request insurance quotes through our website, and we share those requests with a small number of licensed independent insurance agents in the consumer's area so those agents can provide quotes.
CoverageLink sends SMS text messages to two groups of people, and only to those who have given prior express written consent.
The consent language
How consumers opt in
A consumer completes our online quote request form at getcoveragelink.com. The form collects their name, phone number, email address and details about the insurance they are seeking.
Before the form can be submitted, the consumer must tick an unchecked consent checkbox displayed directly beside the consent language shown above. The checkbox is not pre-ticked and the form cannot be submitted without it.
Each submission is recorded with a TrustedForm certificate issued by ActiveProspect, together with the exact consent wording shown, the date and time of consent, and the consumer's IP address. That record is retained and supplied to the agent who receives the request.
How agents opt in
Licensed insurance agents who purchase lead packages from CoverageLink provide their mobile number during signup and may elect to receive text notifications when a new lead is assigned to them. Agents can turn these off at any time from their portal or by replying STOP.
What we send
- To consumers
- Confirmation that their quote request has been received, and notification of which licensed agents will be contacting them. These are transactional messages relating to a request the consumer has made.
- To agents
- Notification that a new lead has been assigned to their account, and account or billing notices relating to their CoverageLink subscription.
CoverageLink does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and does not send text messages to anyone who has not opted in.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Consumers typically receive one to three messages relating to a quote request. Agents receive a message each time a lead is assigned to them, which depends on their package and coverage area.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. CoverageLink does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from CoverageLink to opt out immediately. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that.
You may also email support@getcoveragelink.com to revoke consent.
Numbers that opt out are added to our do-not-contact list, which is checked before any request is shared with an agent.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@getcoveragelink.com or (305) 912-5465.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Information collected through our quote form is used to match consumers with licensed insurance agents. We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent to third parties for marketing purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
